Junior Accountant
OGO Fibers Inc. – Toronto, ON

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and review A/P vouchers and supporting documentation with data entry
  • Manage sales invoices and cost variance analysis
  • Perform weekly inter-company accounts reconciliations
  • Perform month-end closing activities, review inventory and complete adjustment entries
  • Prepare various analysis and financial reports, daily cash forecast
  • Review general ledger transactions and complete journal entries
  • Perform monthly government remittances and returns are filed on a timely basis
  • Prepare working papers for year-end audit

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum five to ten years’ experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a multi-currency environment
  • Knowledge of Canadian and USA sales tax rules
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to multi task with minimal supervision

Letter of Credit Clerk
OGO Fibers Inc. Toronto, ON

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Timely coordination of documentation required for the export booking
  • Letter of Credit interpretation for required shipping documentation
  • Obtaining bill of lading information from carrier/Traffic Coordinator
  • Coordinate and submit bill of lading instructions with carrier
  • Work with Traffic Coordinator to open/close file
  • Print and issue bill of lading or obtain bill of lading from carrier
  • Ensure all supporting documentation, as required, to be included in the bill of lading, i.e., carrier certificates, certificates of origin, etc.
  • Prepare all shipping documents as per LC to present bank within the deadline.Requirements
  • Post secondary education or related International Trade industry accreditation preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good computer skills
  • Chinese language spoken is a must
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be a good team player
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to task prioritization
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and skills:
  • Knowledge about international trade/freight forwarder.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure and tight deadlines This is a very urgent position, the applicant will be required to take up the position within 1 week.
